Established industry association "Belinfokom"
The Minsk City Executive Committee has officially registered the new public organization Belinfokom, which will unite the interests of Belarusian IT companies. The association was founded by four “bison”: “Svyazinformservice”, “Professional Radio Systems”, “Atlant-Telecom” and “Reliable Programs” (Tut.by). The stated goal of Belinfocom is to represent and protect the consolidated interests of members of the association, as well as the entire ICT industry.
Apparently, one of the main initiators of the establishment of "Belinfokom" is Yuri Zisser, chairman of the board of directors of the portal Tut.By. At least in October last year, he was the one who declared the need to create such an organization .
Detailed information about Belinfokom will be announced at a press conference to be held on Thursday, July 12, at 14.00 at the National Press Center on October, 5. The heads of all the organizations of the founders will speak and answer questions. As Yuri Zisser put it, “all those IT companies are invited who want to assess the situation and figure out whether to join the Association.”
