Interview with Eric Schmidt: choose Mac and Chrome for safety

On Tuesday, Google’s ex-CEO Eric Schmidt gave an interview to the well-known site All Things Digital , in which he made a couple of interesting comments about the major players in the IT-technology market.

Traditionally enough, most of the negative words deserved Microsoft. Schmidt’s most succinct comment was the following: “Microsoft does not lead to a user revolution,” which was more to do with the XBox360, which, according to Schmidt, “is not a computing platform.”

The next, more veiled stone in the garden of the Redmond Corporation was: “To stay safe on the Internet, you can use Google Chrome. You can also use a Mac instead of a PC. ”

And finally, Schmidt excluded Microsoft from the top four players on the global IT market. According to him, these are ... Google, Apple, Facebook and Amazon. “Each of them is a custom brand that does something that you cannot do differently,” said the head of Google. Given that Facebook recently admitted to planning a “black” PR action against the search giant, this statement looks particularly curious.
