Trifle, but nice - the developers of the Twitter microblogging service
added an interesting feature : the “Follow” button for sites. Now, by clicking on the button, the user can automatically subscribe to the Twitter messages of the company or site account. Previously, the sites usually put a simple link to the account in the service, following which the user had to take another action. Now it’s possible to follow a twitter of any company or private person in one click.
Of course, a similar function was previously available, it was just necessary to install scripts provided by a third party. Well, now Twitter has decided to become more independent, and is trying to develop its own products, bypassing middlemen. So, it became known earlier that the company is going to launch its own photo hosting service, thus depriving competitors like Twitpic of the lion’s share of visitors.

By the way, according to some data, on Twitter only 660 thousand users who speak Russian (read it in one of the news, the tally was done by the guys from the Russkiy Mir Foundation, I don’t know what kind of organization). Honestly, I thought that there are many more Russian-speaking users in this service. In the same Facebook, there are already about 6 million Russian-speaking users.
Whatever it was, and now those who do not know English at all can communicate on Twitter - the Russian version of the interface was introduced a month ago. Well, and developers slowly add the various functions necessary and not so.
