Apple will introduce Lion, iCloud and iOS 5 at WWDC on Monday

Apple announced that the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will begin on Monday, June 6 at 10 am UTC-7 (9 pm Moscow time).

As previously reported, the focus on WWDC this year will be on software.

For Apple, it is very atypical to announce something beforehand, especially a week before the event, but now the company announced that during the opening performance a new version of Mac OS X - Lion, a new version of the mobile platform - iOS 5 and the iCloud cloud service will be presented.

New products will be presented by Steve Jobs himself, despite the fact that since January he has been on leave for health reasons.

Apple will also hold more than 100 technical developer workshops to help them better understand new features and technologies on Mac OS X Lion and iOS 5.
