Chapter Two, in which Bookmate releases an Android app
By the beginning of summer, we, as promised , have released the universal Bookmate app for Android. We present it today at Habrahabr.
You can download the application from the Android Market .
Bookmate already had an app for HTC Sense smartphones and tablets, but the new version works on all devices with Android 2.1 and higher. We got rid of sensory discrimination and used the best solutions of our mobile clients (besides HTC, this is iOS and Symbian). In fact, this release can be considered the first and present Bookmate for Android.

Innovations introduced recently in the update for iOS , there is in the application for Android.
You can read books without the Internet: for offline access it is enough to synchronize your library once. You can download the whole thing, or you can simply click on the book to read it from the device at any time. The next time you connect to the Internet, all books will be updated using autoload.
Bookmate subscriptions can be paid directly from the app using Google Checkout.
This is a beta version - write about wishes and found bugs in the comments or on feedback@bookmate.com. The app works equally well on smartphones and tablets, but for large tablets like the Motorola Xoom or the Gpad G10, we are now developing a separate version.
In any case, as of today, we can proudly say that Bookmate is on three main mobile platforms: iOS, Android and Symbian. Further - only more: improvement of the existing one, as well as access to other platforms (by the way, if you know how to make applications for Blackberry, write us at jobs@bookmate.com).
