Twitter will launch its own photo hosting

The administration of the microblogging service Twitter will announce the launch of its own photo hosting site at the D9 conference, which started on May 31.

Speech by Twitter CEO Dick Costolo, scheduled for Wednesday, June 1. No details on innovations are reported yet. However, the developers note that the new photo hosting will create serious competition for such “monsters” as Yfrog and Twitpic.
