We measure bubbles

Looking at the list of the 500 largest companies in the world compiled by Money magazine, I wanted to compare the 10 largest Russian companies (from all industries) with the largest Western IT companies.


Of course, over the past couple of months, capitalization figures could change, but, I think, not much.

The area diagram of circles is proportional to the market value of the companies.


I look at all this and think: if the year in 1975 the USSR directed the potential of a pair or three of defense research institutes to a peaceful course, say, ERP / CRM programming or development of consumer microelectronics ... Who knows, maybe today some privatized taxes RAO "Gossoft" (from the top 10 richest companies in the world) would cover all the salary costs of teachers and not only.
