Mobile applications for ordering food and water

Good afternoon, Habr!

In continuation of the topic of developing mobile applications, we want to touch on the other side of this process. Namely - mobile applications for companies, as a way to attract users and increase sales.

The network slipped mention of the fact that some company (Russian) has released a mobile application for ordering water.
Specially found it in the AppStore:
itunes.apple.com/ru/app/id435692776
There you can also find the Russian application for ordering pizza and sushi: itunes.apple.com/ru/app/id400983642

Abroad, such applications are in demand and provide users with a convenient tool for making orders and purchases. In Japan, in general, fish are ordered via Twitter.

In Russia, I'm afraid, as long as the audience is small and, probably, not quite prepared. You can argue with that. But “for growth”, given the spread of technology, this area can be very sought after. Again, it would be possible to do more under Android.

I also found Anatoly Larin ’s presentation “Mobile apps in catering” on this topic.

I want to ask the community: where is this world heading? Did you order food, water, or something else through applications? Are there any sense and prospects for such applications?
