The ReactOS project (under the WooS brand) immediately broke out on the 1st place in the rating of projects applying for the Zvorykin Prize, of which there are already 6979 . With your help, we can make it the first in popularity. Let the state allocate money not for the mythical national operating system , but for a real-life prototype.

What is WooSnet?

WooSNet is a commercial company that will sponsor the development of the operating system and use it as a basis for the implementation of its products aimed at the business sector and government agencies.

What is WooS?

WooS (read as “vus”) is the brand under which products based on ReactOS will be produced. As Ubuntu is a Canonical brand for Debian Linux, Woos is the same brand for WoosNet's ReactOS. It is worth noting that the products under this WooS will also be open and free, and the company's business model is based on the provision of service, certification and other services.

How does all this relate to ReactOS?

As for the relationship of WooSNet with ReactOS, they are the most direct. Starting from me, and ending with the fact that upon receiving investments WooSNet will directly sponsor the development of ReactOS, since business success depends on it. No OS - no business.

Another fundamentally new one?

This time it is not BolgenOS :). This is really our experiment to attract real money to bring ReactOS to a new stage of development and use. There is already support from Spain, but since the project is very ambitious and large, and we don’t have a local Shuttleworth, we decided to act according to a truly international scenario, attracting investors from different countries.

Why make another garden if you already have a ReactOS Foundation?

The fact is that you need to separate concepts. ReactOS Foundation deals exclusively with the project, from a non-commercial point of view. This fund can not provide services for the revision of the operating system to the requirements of the customer, enter into contracts for the installation and maintenance of the operating system at enterprises and state. institutions, etc.
For all of this, a commercial company is needed, no matter what it is called, even though JSC “Horseradish from a Mountain International” :) Which in turn will transfer money to the fund to support the OS, hire developers themselves primarily from the existing ReactOS team, etc.
