The following announcements were made during the plenary report of the conference:

• cooperation with SoftKey, thanks to which the procedure for publishing applications to the Windows Phone 7 Marketlace store will be significantly simplified for developers from CIS countries;
• Presents the official application for Windows Phone 7 of Yandex and the client for the social network “V kontakte”;
• the third wave of the Software Developer Licensing Initiative program , which started on May 16, was presented at the DevCon'11 conference;
• Microsoft also announced the launch of the Best Windows 7 Applications competition www.microsoft.ru/isv/contest ;
• 3 free e-books became available in Russia: “ Transition to Visual Studio 2010”, “Programming Windows Phone 7” and “Small Basic for Beginners”.

At DevCon'11, it was announced that for the first time on November 9-10, Russia will host the large-scale international conference TechEd , which will be the next step in the development of the largest event in the Russian IT industry - “Platform. Defining the future. ” Developing the best that the Platform participants are used to, TechEd will fundamentally increase the scale of the conference, the depth and number of topics covered, and the level of participation of international experts.
