How Gmail helped find a stolen car

Avrohom Eliezer Friedman's car was stolen. It happens ... But oddly enough the police found his car thanks to Gmail.

The fact is that Friedman’s car had a special GMAIL number (see photo). The policeman, noticing a car with this number, decided to punch through the base, in order to see which crank managed to grab such a number and it turned out that the car was in the hijacking. The thief was arrested, the car was returned to the owner.
This begs the question - would you check the police car if it had AOLMAIL or HOTMAIL numbers?

PS Not a word about this news, but I looked at the Florida DMV website, it turns out that the money from this special number goes to the police support fund .
