Russian Google changed logo to celebrate the victory of Sochi

In honor of the All-Russian Olympic holiday, the Russian representative office of Google has developed a special holiday logo, which is now placed on the first page of www.google.ru .

“The choice of Sochi as the capital of the 2014 Winter Olympics is Russia's confidence and recognition of its role in world events, including sports. We are joining the universal celebration of Russia's victory, ”said Konstantin Kuzmin, director of marketing for Google in Russia, in a press release issued specifically about this.

The design of festive logos Google is being developed by Denis Hwang, an American who has worked for the company since 2000. Denis drew festive logos for a huge number of international events, holidays and anniversaries of famous people.
