Google is preparing a Russian-language map service

Google launches the Russian localization of its map service Google Maps. The Russian version supports all functions (except StreetView) available in English. That is, there is even the last dragging function of intermediate points of the route.


Apparently, the localized version is still in the testing phase, since the reference section is empty, and the official blog of the Russian representative office about the announcement is silent. But nevertheless, all my functions worked unmistakably and that I can’t say that the service is “raw”.
