A group of Danish agricultural technicians reported on the completion of work on a robot that is able to search for and pull out weeds from the beds.
The self-propelled robot Hortibot measuring about meter by meter (apparently, we are talking about surface area) detects twenty-five types of weeds, and in addition, is equipped with a GPS sensor.
Scientists believe that Hortibot will help to make products less harmful, since the amount of herbicides used will decrease by about 75%. ')
