The
Alter Russia project works a little more than a week.
The technical launch showed that the idea of an independent Internet platform for discussing legislative initiatives is relevant, interesting to the public and claimed by the citizens of our country.
AlterRussia users have already prepared more than 300 offers. Some of them are interested in the State Duma. There is official information that the initiatives of AlterRussia citizens are discussed on the sidelines of the Russian Parliament and a number of deputies see quite good prospects for cooperation with our audience in real lawmaking.
It is surprising and pleased that the Internet community feels a measure of responsibility for its proposals and is capable of self-regulation. Thanks to some technical innovations, each initiative can be marked as “Spam”, “Not initiative” and “Repeat”. Portal users themselves evaluate received proposals, protecting the resource from low-quality initiatives.

In the near future, the developers are planning to further improve the self-regulation algorithms and build social functionality. In addition, on June 12, for the first time we will have to test the mechanism for electing a virtual President and virtual Ministers. We hope that everything will go smoothly and active and adequate people will be elected to the highest positions in the republic, to whom we will be able to transfer the operational management of the project.
PS at the request of Habrahabr users, we will soon make a separate post about the technical side of our project!
