GOLOS, a non-profit organization engaged in monitoring elections in Russia, has literally just opened a website for electoral statistics in our country -
stat.golos.orgThere are a total of 36,834 election records at all levels of government, from federal to local government, in all regions and since 2003.
A huge amount of work is finally available online. Data on a very sensitive topic called "elections". Moreover, these official, finally, extracted from the site of the CEC and presented in a form suitable for reuse as open data.

And each of the choices has a link to the CSV description file. Which can be downloaded, downloaded to Excel, downloaded to your favorite database, build infographics, make your regional project, make a project on your own municipality and much more.

Of course, not everything is perfect there. In my opinion, lacking:
1. Now for individual elections you can download data in CSV, but there is no possibility to download the entire list of choices in machine-readable form. Best in CSV format accessible by a link on the main page.
This can be useful if, for example, someone wants to analyze the elections in his region - thus it will be possible to write a relatively simple application that would cover not one election file, but several at once.
2. There is a lack of feedback from site visitors like the a la reformal.ru button.
3. There is a lack of description of the structure of CSV files or XML files.
It is much more important that such projects appear. What open data goes to people's minds. And the fact that non-profit organizations are beginning to outpace the authorities in the transparency of their own activities.
And I now think how this data could be used for the common good and benefit. If you have any ideas, suggestions or desires to make efforts - I suggest thinking together.
