Google Chrome 12 Beta released

Google has released the 12th version of Google Chrome, but is still in beta. Developers announce the following fundamental changes:

• Full support for 3D CSS hardware acceleration.
• Improved Google SafeBrowsing, which now also analyzes files uploaded by users.
• Ability to delete Flash cookies directly from the browser.
• Launch applications directly from omnibox.
• Screen reader support has been implemented ( NVDA and others).
• Google Gears is finally buried; its functionality is being replaced by HTML 5 specifications for working offline.
