Apple is the most expensive brand

The company Millward Brown Optimor (MBO) announced the results of the sixth annual brand value research BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands, according to which Apple has become the most expensive brand in the world, thus ending the four-year dominance of Google. Many analysts argue that the “apple” company managed to achieve such results thanks to a stunning increase in its market value over the past year by 84 percent. According to the company MBO, since 2006, the Apple brand has increased its value by 859 percent, currently it is 153.3 billion dollars.

The company also said that over the past year, the total value of all brands in the Top 100 list has increased by 17 percent, which in absolute terms is 2.4 trillion dollars. The technology companies also ranked the rankings: IBM's blue giant of electronics - 3rd place, software giant Microsoft - 5th place, and American telecommunications company AT & T - 7th place. The Chinese search engine Baidu rose in the ranking to 29th place, and the world-famous social network Facebook was first seen in the ranking - 35th place. Apple's revenue in the first quarter increased by 83 percent thanks to sales of consoles, which the company focused on and apparently did not lose. If the financial performance of Apple will show the same stable growth and further, then we can predict more than one year of the company's leadership in the ranking of the most influential brands in the world.
