Quintura restarted in RuNet

The most famous Russian web start abroad abroad has announced its re-launch in RuNet. Quintura , which received several million dollars in venture capital investments from Mangrove Capital Partners in June 2007, introduced a fully updated visual search service today.

“The funds raised from Mangrove allowed us to restart the Quintura service for Runet users, where we are beginning to actively market,” said Jacob Sadchikov, president of Quintura. “We will also introduce Quintura to search sites and blogs and open several search services that are unique to Runet, such as visual search for children.”

Quintura was the best alternative to Google last month, according to AltSearchEngines, a blog from the Read / WriteWeb network. In its new incarnation, the search engine has become more modern and simple. The user is now immediately offered a map or cloud of the most popular topics on the Runet. Just click on the topic of interest and the Quintura map will be rebuilt, showing the user prompts to refine the search query. New navigation elements allow you to go back or forward, simplifying work with the map and reducing the search time for relevant information.

Each user now has the opportunity with one click of the mouse to save the results as a browser bookmark, so that at any time he can return and continue researching the topic of interest, as well as quickly and simply send the card to others.
