Startup Jobs from PRUFFI (May 2-6)

PRUFFI continues to help start-ups and publishes weekly vacancies in Runet start-ups as part of a joint start-up personnel search program with GreenfieldProject . Taking into account the comments of habread readers , we decided to add to vacancies and project descriptions, comments from established IT entrepreneurs, so that they would give an expert assessment of the viability and adequacy of startups. Today's startups are commented by Andrei Yunisov (founder and managing partner of Webprofiters.ru) and Alexander Kulkov (founder of Firmbook.ru).

1.) LAMODA.ru


Internet startup in the fashion industry, created with the support of the leading European Internet investor "Rocket Internet". Rocket was founded by three brothers Samwer, who have successfully created companies such as Ebay Europe, eDarling, and Groupon International. - From the point of view of the interface, the new project is very similar to the recently launched sapato.ru. From the point of view of classical marketing, the store is made quite well - the general advantages of buying are well communicated.

It is not entirely clear what is unique and whether the store is going to compete with something other than products and prices with the same sapato.ru. There are representational problems with non-food benefits. There are 2 catalogs implemented on the site, which speaks about the reasonableness of the site structure for the search logic. However, the design of robots.txt suffers, which can cause duplication of cards and general problems of internal project optimization and, as a result, problems with the recruitment of SEO traffic to the site. The interface of the product cards is clear and understandable, but the basket interface suffers - a lot of distracting elements, which generates a “spreading” of clicks. The interface of the cart is fairly standard and is subject to the study of user behavior in it. However, for this purpose, statistical systems, for example Google Analytics, are not installed and configured deeply in the system.

The project is actively using SMM to recruit traffic, but it is clearly not up to SEO in my opinion. This is strange, given that SEO and contextual advertising serve created demand, and SMM more forms it. However, aspects of the project’s advertising strategy are unknown.

2.) PR-Hero.ru


The goal of the PR-Hero.ru project is to make relations with the press accessible and effective for small businesses and start-ups. For the time being, this is expressed in the service “7 publications of your news in online media”.

E-Legion has been developing web services, mobile applications and enterprise systems for five years.

Who is needed?

The pr-hero.ru project and the e-Legion company require a brilliant PR manager to raise our work to a new level. We already have one PR manager.

Now we cope with our tasks and are getting better every day :) But very slowly, we need a person who can raise our PR work to a new level, make it better, faster and more efficient.

Description of tasks:

Responsibilities, in a team with another PR-manager:
- develop and implement an e-Legion PR strategy;
- develop and implement a PR strategy of the PR-Hero project;
- carry out orders within the framework of PR-Hero;
- to participate in the strategic development of the service, check the relevance of the business model, invent a new model, offer and participate in the implementation of new services;
- in the future, it is possible to become a project manager for PR-Hero.

- In general, I liked the project. I quite often attracted during the work of a PR company to publish company news in the media. Pr-Hero liked the clarity of the service for the preparation and distribution of press releases, since other outsourcing PR companies most often offer a monthly fee for a range of services that is not always needed and costs about 50-70 tr.

I didn’t really like the media selection, I hope it will expand with time. Even less liked the work performed - there were very few publications and it’s hard to believe that 9000 readers had reached the level.

If you look at the future, then it seems to me that less and less PR companies will work in the format of sending press releases to the media and more and more companies will use blogs and social networks to inform. But in the next couple of years, I'm sure Pr-Hero will find its audience.
