ADD-2011 “died down” (by the way - many thanks to the organizers - it was cool and interesting!) As time to pack your bags for the next one. Surprisingly, the search on “JEEConf” gave nothing at habr (or was I looking bad?) - and the conference looks very interesting!
So - I will take the liberty to make an unofficial announcement of
JEEConf - I hope it is not too late.
The JEEConf conference will take place on May 21st in Kiev. They say Kiev is especially beautiful in May - unfortunately, personally, I will have “butt” time to clearly see this.
This conference is devoted to the Java language (this is how it differs from ADDConf), but it does not focus on the products of one company (this is how it differs from JavaOne - yes, my friends, the organizers forgive me!). JEEConf organizers aim to share primarily practical experience in the use of Java in various fields - from Android to naturally Enterprise Edition. “Less theory and advertising posters - more practice and descriptions of problems” - probably this is the way to formulate the conference motto.
As a separate "trick" - right in front of the amazed public, the development team will create something cool and innovative (hello to Skolkov!)
')
Many reports are devoted to the practical application of products that for example are very interesting to me - Apache Camel, ActiveMQ, EhCache & Terracotta - and many others. The program is really tasty (I am not the organizer of the conference, so this is not a rough ad hoc - but look at the
program yourself!)
I can’t help but tell about myself (and here I’m starting PR) - I’ll usually talk about Liferay - I’m not tired yet - but they’ll give me a full hour and a half - so I’ll finally be able to talk not in a patter but in detail and the use of Liferay in corporate systems and the basics (and problems - where without them!) programming under Liferay. The presentation is not completely ready - as it will be ready - I will post it as usual on
Russian Liferay .
