From May 13 to May 15, Moscow will host the fourth conference of
YAPC :: Russia , dedicated to the Perl programming language and its community. This year the conference is combined with the annual Ukrainian Perl-workshop Perl Mova.
The three-day program consists of Perl 6 hakatan and reports about modern versions of the language and applications based on them.
On the first day, Friday, May 13, the hackathon about Perl 6 will be organized. Hackathon is an informal meeting of programmers who want to participate in the development of the current version of the Perl 6 compiler Rakudo. Jonathan Worthington, one of the leading compiler developers living in Sweden, will come to lead the process. Martin Berends and Karl Masac also come to the hackathon, taking an active part in the development of Rakudo and Perl 6.
