Hi, habrayuzer!
Maybe you saw our
announcement at the Habré about free iOS development courses. We want to share the good news: we launched these courses and already had four classes! We managed to go through the basics of the Objective-C language, features of IDE Xcode, as well as the use of the MVC concept in iOS. But now is not about that.
In the announcement, many asked us whether we would organize a video recording of lectures for those who do not live in Moscow. Unfortunately, we could not record ourselves. But on the other hand, we post all materials from our lectures
on our blog : a presentation, a screencast of practical tasks, as well as project files. Therefore, if you do not have the opportunity to attend our courses, but still want to quickly and effectively deal with the development on iOS -
welcome! The list of topics that we managed to disassemble at the moment:
Functionality iOS devices
Features of the Objective-C language: OOP, sending messages, selectors, protocols, delegates, memory management
MVC concept in iOS: UIView, UIViewController
Work in Xcode
Standard controls: buttons, labels, images + a bunch between Xcode and Interface Builder
Navigation in the application: navigationController and tabBarController
We will be happy to answer your questions here or by e-mail at team@squeek.ru
In general, this is our first post on Habré as a post in a company blog, so a couple of words about the content of the blog. Here we plan to publish our experience in developing iOS applications, some of the “hacks” that we had to use, as well as tips on designing user interfaces for the iPhone and iPad. If you are interested to learn from us any topics in addition to these - we are waiting for your feedback.

PS Carefully, in the comments of the trolls! :)
UPD: for those who do not immediately understand, we can not publish your videos on YouTube because of the 15 minutes limit, which is there for ordinary videos. We specifically bought a premium account for vimeo for this and we will only publish there, since the audience is so annoyed by the videos from Vkontakte, where there is no limit.
