Build Ubuntu 11.04 by NNLUG

For Linux InstallFest, we have prepared the Ubuntu 11.04 distribution kit from the Nizhny Novgorod Linux Users Group. Her presentation will be held on May 1st.

Packages have been added to the assembly, in our opinion, necessary for full-fledged work immediately when loaded in Live mode or after installation on the hard drive. Namely:

• Packages Russification of the system and applications
• Full set of audio and video codecs
• VLC Video Player
• 7zip Archiver
• Set the time zone in Moscow time
• Added document templates (now there are different types of documents in the "New Document" menu)
• Added scripts for batch processing of photos in Gnome (you can massively rotate or resize images by right-clicking in Nautilus)
• Added drivers for HP printers
• Added driver packages for NVidia video cards to disk
