Thanks to the fast work of one of Canonical’s design team members, Paul Sladen, Ubuntu is now available for use by Google Docs for everyone, regardless of operating system.
A
bug report was sent to the Ubuntu Font Family project
with a wish from Brent Fox with the text “Please add the Ubuntu font to Google Docs”, and in less than two hours Paul said that the font would be Google Docs. Sumptuously!
Font Ubuntu Canonical commissioned to develop the London company
Dalton Maag . It is available in several versions, including light, italic, bold and Cyrillic, and is distributed under a Creative Commons license so that anyone can use it.
