Looking through the verbal battles on the Internet about the budgets and the concept of development of startups, he noted that some startups advocate for thorough project planning, meticulous budgets, taking into account all options for changing the external environment. Some people create a plan only for a short period of time. Someone thinks: “we’ll get investments, attract users, and then we’ll think further”. Budgets in the latter case are often determined by eye.
Western authors tend to prefer careful planning. Among our startups, there are all three options, and, IMHO, the second and third slightly, but still prevail.
There is no point in associating such a situation with the mentality of the Russian person (“let's do this, and then we'll see”). Constantly changing market situation? In the western segment of the Internet conditions are also changing quite quickly. Lack of experience and lack of professionalism of domestic startups? IMHO, it is not.
