Now Nintendo has received official information - the company has published a short note that, yes, the new generation system is indeed planned to be launched in 2012. Currently, about 86 million Nintendo Wii game consoles have been sold since 2006, when the device first appeared on the market.

The company confirmed that Wii2 will be presented on the E3 show in Los Angeles in June of this year. A working version of the system will be presented, plus detailed technical information about the new device. There is no official information about the cost of the device, but the same “sources close to the management” reported that the cost of the Wii2 will be 350-400 US dollars. True, the same "anonymous sources" previously reported on the possible appearance of Wii2 on store shelves in October of this year, but, as we see, did not grow together.
