Somehow, the news about the change in the Google Groups interface has passed unnoticed, at least for me.
The welcome screen looks like this.
Unobtrusively suggesting we get to know new features of groups.
And what is offered to us? Well, the standard social set:
• all discussions in one place
• the ability to format your messages and
attach files
• "simplicity and speed"
• version for Android ™ and Apple® iOS devices
As for me, the interface has now become something more modern and closer to Google Reader and Gmail.
But this was before
The changes affected the following several points:
• Linking a Google profile with a Groups account (new user interface)
• Creating a new topic of discussion (new user interface)
• View group members (new user interface)
• About the Group and Join Group dialogs (new user interface)
• Organization of forums (new user interface)
• Getting started with Google groups (new user interface)
• Welcome screen (new user interface)
• Screen of my groups (new user interface)
• Forum screen (new user interface)
• Theme screen (new user interface)
• Configure participation as a participant (new user interface)
• Choosing the old and new Google Groups interface (new user interface)
• Abuse report (in new user interface)
• Delete message (new user interface)
• Embedding the forum in Google Sites (new user interface)
• Embedding multiple forums in Google Sites (new user interface)
• Google Groups (existing user interface) versus Google Groups (new user interface)
• Reading and replying to forum posts (new user interface)
• Search and join a group (new user interface)
