Mary had a little lamb
Its fleece was white as snow;
And everywhere that Mary went,
The lamb was sure to go.
Each of us is familiar with machine translation systems. From the toys that were issued to the mouse drovers, they grew into serious helpers for translating or simply reading foreign texts.
But one thing is beyond the power of these systems - so far they have not been used for fiction.
And in vain.
Mary had a little lamb
His coat was white as snow.
Wherever Mary goes,
Lamb went after her.
Subscript translation
I present a prototype system for machine translation of poems. A small program can master text of any size in any language. The language of translation is Russian only.

In my opinion, a similar product would be useful when translating banal, boring texts for a person for which the translator does not want to take on their own.
The working title of the project is Togataltu.
Unfortunately, I can not continue active development, so I have to show the product as it is now. At the moment, the quality of translation is very far from perfect. If possible, the original meter is preserved, but the meaning most often eludes without a trace.
The development language is Ruby.
Repository on github. Our Mary had a ram,
Dogs it is more true.
In a thunderstorm, and in a storm, and in a fog
Baran wanders after her.
