"Virtual Machines" - a five-day seminar in St. Petersburg. April 25-29. Participation is free
Oracle Company invites you to take part in the “Virtual Machines” scientific and technical seminar.
The seminar is intended for senior students, graduate students, researchers and engineers of relevant specialties. It is assumed that the audience is familiar with virtual machines, compilers, garbage collection and Java language. The seminar is conducted by a leading engineer, Ph.D. Oleg Pliss.
Indicative workshop plan

1. Overview and history of the development of virtual machines. JVM architecture.
2. Interpretation and compilation.
3. Memory management.
4. Multithreading, synchronization, calls to library functions.
5. Multitasking, crosscompilation, romatization, binary conversion.
The volume of topics is very different. Since this is a seminar, the format implies a high degree of interactivity, and the duration and depth of consideration of topics depends on the interest shown by the public.
The seminar will be held in the office of the company Orakl in St. Petersburg on April 25-29. Beginning at 13:00 every day.
