Amazon EC2 data center crashed, sending hundreds of sites and services to Down.
Today, around 2 am Pacific time, servers “located” in the Amazon data center in North Virginia (US-East) suddenly fell over.
Judging by the Amazon status page , the data center is still down.
Due to the inaccessibility of servers, there are Quora, Foursquare, Reddit, a lot of facebook games, and hundreds of different startups.

PS It seems like the SkyNet attack should have begun today. They chose an interesting way :)
