Cyrillic .org domains will earn today
From February 19, 2011 in the popular domain zone - .ORG, anyone can register Cyrillic domain names (IDN) containing characters of the Ukrainian, Russian, Belarusian, Bulgarian, Macedonian and Serbian alphabets.
However, to fully use the domain name registered in the first month after opening registrations will be possible only from today. Recall that the administration of the .ORG domain has applied technical restrictions — for all Cyrillic IDN domains, lock statuses have been established: Server Hold, Server Update Prohibited, Server Renew Prohibited, Server Transfer Prohibited and Server Delete Prohibited. These restrictions served to ensure the possibility of the UDRP procedure in the event of a dispute on any name.
The unlocking of the Cyrillic domains to the .ORG zone will begin today on April 21 at 15:00 UTC.

Domain .ORG is one of the three largest domains in terms of the number of registered names among top-level domains (gTLDs), year after year, demonstrating high growth rates. Today, more than 8 million names are registered in .ORG.
