Dear habrovchane, I want to draw your attention to the upcoming release of Ubuntu, and I propose to take part in testing the new version of this wonderful distribution. A little more than a week is left before the release, and we still have a chance to help developers make the “narwhal” really “neat”. Today, Ubuntu is fairly stable, but contains a number of bugs that developers should pay attention to before the release. In this post, I suggest sharing the found bugs, confirming on the launchpad that the bug is showing up, and writing new reports collectively.
I participate in testing Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal Beta 1, and at the moment there are still a few bugs I noticed, possibly due to the fact that no one has confirmed that the bug manifests itself.
What to do?
If you do not have an account on Launchpad , register.
If you found and published information about bugs, or found a description of a bug that appeared in you, send links to bugs on Launchpad to me in a personal or email (glazs / at / ebrilo.jp), I will add them to the post.
Examine the bugs posted in the post and check if you have them. If yes, click on the link “This bug affects X person. Does this bug affect you? ”Above the description of the bug and subscribe to it by clicking on the“ Subscribe ”link on the right.
If you find a bug, and you can’t find it on the launchpad, and your knowledge of English is not enough to publish it, write about it in the comments. We will jointly check if it is not described, prepare and publish information about the bug.
