Samsung is preparing a counterclaim against Apple

According to AFP, representatives of Samsung Electronics said they would take retaliatory action against Apple.

Apple filed a lawsuit against Samsung on Friday, claiming the Galaxy S 4G, Epic 4G, Nexus S and Galaxy Tab devices are copying the iPhone and iPad.

Samsung said that the company successfully develops its key technologies and creates its intellectual property. Moreover, Samsung suspects Apple of infringement of Samsung patents on wireless technologies and is considering the possibility of filing a retaliatory claim.

Apple is one of Samsung’s key customers: in 2010, Samsung supplied semiconductors and displays worth $ 5.7 billion for Apple. Samsung said that despite this, the company has no choice but to respond firmly to the lawsuit.
