How do companies rent the necessary software for micropayments

Opening a new company, an entrepreneur sometimes faces a load of large one-time (capital) costs for the purchase of one or another “inventory”. This inventory can also include software - for example, annual licenses for antivirus or 1C: Accounting. This is rather inconvenient: the company still brings little profit (or does not bring it at all), but now you need to pay a tidy sum.

Where it would be more convenient to pay for licensed software (if it is required by the company) gradually, once a month or two, extracting money from the operating profit. This is how a small business usually pays for, for example, the Internet - not immediately a year in advance, but gradually, monthly.

Our project - Popodpiska.Ru for legal entities - just allows you to convert capital costs into operational ones , and at the same time it takes on all the necessary documents for tax purposes.

Briefly about us

I already wrote earlier on Habré a couple of articles ( 1 and 2 ) about our platform Rentsoft and service on its basis - Popodpiska.ru. So, a year ago we, a team of young and active graduates of Moscow State University and Baumanki, launched the start-up platform Rentsoft and the Internet service based on it - Popodpiske.ru. (In addition to Popodpiske.ru itself, there are about two hundred partner storefronts, mainly with Internet service providers.) Over the year, our platform gained weight: we expanded the range of software to which you can subscribe. It all started with antiviruses, and now we have: antiviruses, games, ABBYY Lingvo and ABBYY FineReader, programs for encrypting and securing information, as well as MS Office and 1C (though the latter is for the time being for individuals, it will be a little expensive for individuals) .

A month ago, we realized that we did a lot for private use of the software on a subscription basis, but for corporate clients (legal entities) - there is still something to modify. We decided to rectify the situation and made the subscription to the popular software convenient and profitable for legal entities.

Special approach to work with legal entities

As a matter of fact, legal entities had previously been able to subscribe to software, but earlier the interface and model of relationship with the user had been adapted for private clients.

What has changed?

1. Taking into account the peculiarities of document management by legal entities.
   
   As you know, the work of legal entities is related to compliance with the requirements of the legislation and the regulatory framework for accounting. These requirements, in particular, oblige legal entities to keep document circulation for each transaction, namely: contracts, accounts and acts. We also took into account these features - through the service a legal contract is concluded with the legal entity, bills are issued, and acts are issued monthly (all of these “exposures” take place automatically).
   
   
   
   
2. We have created a separate interface for legal entities, adapted for wholesale purchases:
   
   
   
   It is enough for the representative of a legal entity to register on Popodiskika.ru service or on any other storefront operating on the Rentsoft platform, and indicate how many licenses and software are planned to be purchased.
   
   
3. Support service for jur. individuals.
   
   Working with organizations requires a slightly different approach to the organization of user support, so in our support service we have identified a separate sector that is responsible for interacting with legal entities. Including the sector deals with the resolution of issues related to document flow.

Little about the windows

In the near future, the possibility of a subscription for legal entities will also appear on the windows of our partners, including 50 Internet providers (you can find the list of partners here ).
