Today I would like to share with you the experience of "the realization of a dream." Perhaps it will spur someone to another spurt of enthusiasm and something useful will see the light.
A couple of days ago, the App Store was replenished with our new Wordrive casual game. Initially, this project we wanted to get only experience. I reasoned like this: you can pay money and go to courses, but you can step on a rake for six months and stuff bumps in the right places, get experience, and it will cost quite comparable money. And now, looking back on sleepless nights, half a year of waiting, hours of telephone conversations with Apple, I want to return not so much spent as to earn on another such breakthrough. Because along with this project, there are still so many ideas, and Wordrive asks himself to improve a little bit.
It all started with a concept that I decided to immediately test on children. Maybe it looks inhuman, but it works with a bang. The daughter at the time of shooting can only read by syllables, but the phrase adds quickly.

I looked at this prototype. You understand that it’s impossible to count on such success. But the viability of the idea has been tested.
And last summer, the first step was taken. Platform selected - iPhone and Android mobile phones.
What we finally got.
To complete a level is to collect one of such phrases from words (these are examples, phrases are hundreds):

- "Brand" Wordrive . Word (word) + Drive (go) or Word (word) + Rive (split, break).
- Multilingual Wordrive and WordriveLite game - paid and free. Free contains a few phrases of each language, to "try."
- Multilingual website . With descriptions and rules of the game, with videos and screenshots
- Online emulator game . This is a special pride - with small differences in details, functionally, the emulator very similarly demonstrates one level of play for an iPhone. True, still rude, a little. And after passing the level you can only start it again.
- Original soundtrack . Specially written and recorded for the game calm music. To be honest, I already hate her. I didn’t listen to any group as much as the soundtrack to the game, because I had to test software and content all the time, for a long time, for many months.
- Professional programming . Acquainted with the programmer, we finally decided to invest in the project. In the case of Apple on this part to save and attract "students" can not in any case. Unless you are the same "student", of course.
- Professional design . During the project, we found that printing designers and website designers are simply drawing the wrong thing. We needed a person specializing in iPhone design. And we found such a person. This is the second critical moment. Apple rejects applications that violate the style guide and a few unwritten rules.
- Supports iPhone 4 and iPad . The game displays the best graphics that the phone can “pull”.
- And unique content . Each phrase in the game is a masterpiece, half of the phrases in the network cannot be found. They were translated and tested "translated humor" on native speakers.
