The first thing we did was to start exploring the best projects in the industry. We did not find normal generators, but we did find a lot in the search engines for icons. Having collected the best, and having improved our imagination, we created a rather weak search engine with a huge base. We have collected over 50,000 unique icons (the word “unique” means real uniqueness, and not 5,000 icons of 10 sizes each).



We recognize that the first launch of the project failed. Inconvenience to use, problems with copyright, lack of icons in normal resolution, weak server, bugs in the generator, and so on. The list can be quite long. But this is all in the past. This time we decided not to step on the same rake and created a much more advanced project.

After finishing the search engine, they began to optimize and improve the generator. We added several functions to the previous generator, optimized the algorithms for creating icons and came up with the following:

In the generator you can:

• Change background preview
• Set image type (JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP and ICO are supported)
• Choose whether to paint over the icon or leave the original colors
• Whether to use a transparent background
• Choose background color and foreground icons
• Choose the size of icons up to 512x512 pixels (note that not all icons have an original size of 512x512. You can sort icons with a specific original size in the advanced search. Also keep in mind that .ICO format only supports sizes up to 255x255 pixels)
• Rotate the image at a certain angle

This list does not end there. In the near future we will add 2 more functions to the generator. We also have 6 of our own unique collections of icons and plans to create and add your new collection every week.
