To the anniversary of the flight of Gagarin - portal "First in space"

Today is April 12th. Exactly 50 years since the first manned flight into space. To this anniversary, the Ministry of Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, with the participation of Microsoft and Rostelecom, launched the new portal “First in Space”, dedicated to the history of space exploration and the development of space science and technology.

Visitors of the portal www.pobeda-kosmos.ru for the first time will be able to familiarize themselves with the records of communication sessions made during the flight of Yuri Gagarin on April 12, 1961. On the portal you can find unique documentary films, a huge photo archive will be available, the materials in which are grouped both by significant personalities (K. Tsiolkovsky, Y. Gagarin, etc.), and by important events (first satellite, animals in space, etc.). .d.)



Technologically, the portal is fully implemented on the Microsoft platform, the site is written on the Sharepoint Server, SQL Server database. Access to all graphic materials is made using Deep Zoom, video materials use Smooth Streaming technology - excellent Silverlight features for interactive interaction!
