Google Docs integrate with Britannic?

Among the new features that have been found in the code of Google Docs, the most important is the integration with online knowledge bases. Apparently, Google Docs will have access to the Merriam-Webster dictionaries directly from the document. Also become available to view articles from Britannica.

It is curious that as an encyclopedia Google chose not the free Wikipedia, but the oldest, existing since 1768 for Britannica with problems of free access to articles via the Internet. The oldest encyclopedia requires articles to link to the original records from the site britannica.com. Although there is nothing surprising here: Wikipedia is an unreliable source that should be used according to the “trust but verify” principle, which Google probably did not like.

UPD: You can access the Merriam-Webster dictionaries now by typing the following code in a browser with the docs.google.com window open in the address bar:
javascript:void(INCLUDE_BRITANNICA_INTEGRATION=true);
After this operation, you will see additional fields in the pop-up menu, which can be seen in the screenshot below. Despite the presence of the item Encyclopedia article for “WORD”, access to the encyclopedia is closed and an empty window is displayed instead of the article, apparently due to unresolved agreements between the two parties.
