Against the backdrop of the hype around the
Apple iPhone , in my opinion, they undeservedly missed many new interesting things that were demonstrated at
CES 2007 .
Korean company Reigncom with a well-known brand
iRiver has shown a
new line of its products .
Unfortunately, the detailed information is not so much: on the
Korean site of the company (
descriptions and videos) and
Engadged (
materials and
videos ). Here is what we managed to catch:
CLIX2 (U20) - a follower of the media player
CLIX (U10) . CLIX2 thinner, slightly wider, slightly licked. Of the new features, MPEG-4 and WMV support with 30 frames per second is certainly impressive. And built-in
Flash Lite 2.1 (hooray - toys and attachments!).
UNIT2 is a hell of a media center with CD, DVD, DivX, Wi-Fi, VoIP, Photo, TV, eBook support and 2.1 speakers. All this is divided into the Docking station and the player itself, to which the video can be delivered via Wi-Fi. In addition, the device supports widgets. Built-in 1.8 "HDD. But that's not all! The evil folding remote control with qwerty keyboard, which is also a telephone, complements this evil. There is a penguin with a 2.6 kernel inside the center.
W10 is a cross between a media player with a touchscreen and a navigator. Screen 480 * 272, support H.264 (!!!), WMV, FM radio, slot for miniSD cards, Flash Lite 2.1 and Wi-Fi, on the basis of which positioning is implemented (WPS - Wi-Fi positioning system). Probably, in places where white light is not visible, but everything is entangled Wi-Fi will be preferable to GPS. OS- WinCE 5.0.
BOOK2 is a
two -screen E-book with E-ink touchscreen technology, dressed in a stylish leather cover. MiniSD slot, minUSB2 connector. It is promised that AAA batteries will last for 6 months of work (no details). The reading software is a light version of Acrobat Reader -
Acrobat Reader LE .
S10 is a baby player with a color screen, with a slight movement now
turning into an elegant Bluetooth
bracelet . In the bracelet, you can see the usual USB-connector.
Mplayer - Mickey Mouse has his head ripped off! Now she plays MP3 songs and changes her color. Oh my God!
iPod Shuffle - die!
I'd like to hope that iRiver will not forget about Mother Russia.
PS At the end of last CES,
Bill Gates introduced another product iRiver - player H10.
