in the cultural center of the Higher School of Economics (Vorontsovo pole st., 5a, m. Kurskaya or Chkalovskaya). Start

The main part of the event is the
performances of student teams representing prototypes of innovative software projects that make the world a better place. More information about the projects presented in the final - below. Based on the project presentations, the jury will have to select one winning team in each competition - these teams will represent Russia at the international finals in New York in July 2011. Teams that won other prizes will receive valuable prizes (netbooks from the sponsor of prizes - Acer companies, books, invitations to trainings and conferences from Intel and Quarta Technologies, etc.). And not only the teams - the
audience will also
be able to participate in contests and get prizes and gifts! The general sponsor of the event was the
Russian Venture Company , the competition was supported
by the Skolkovo Foundation .

- Kinect for the Blind, MIPT - a system based on Kinect and a self-made tactile matrix, allowing blind and weak-sighted people to navigate the environment
- OriCrafter, MAI - a system that helps to fold origami - both for teaching children and for professional users.
- Crystal Ball, UNN - analysis of the political situation and prediction of instability in different countries based on the processing of information in news sources
- Clean City, SSTU - optimization of garbage collection in the city, based on a network of special sensors for filling tanks and building the optimal detour route
- Dobryashka, VolgGTU - a project that allows to organize the process of mutual assistance of citizens in the form of a distributed gaming platform
- Savior of Life, TPU - training system that allows novice doctors to conduct virtual operations on a human model
- SafeFood, SUSU - a system for analyzing the quality of products based on the Windows Phone 7 phone and developed by the sensor team
- Mobile chronometer, USTU - will allow a new approach to the process of accounting for the consumption of personal time
The following projects will be presented in the embedded systems competition:
- Finder, MIPT - Kinect-based robot capable of independently building a room map
- The system of rapid analysis of diseases by smell, SSTU - allows you to quickly analyze the contents of a certain class of substances in exhaled air, which will detect a number of diseases
- The system for growing larvae of Axolotl, SSTU - allows you to create an optimal environment for the cultivation of larvae that are actively used in medical research of stem cells
- SunFlowers, VolgGTU - the system of redistribution and trade in solar energy
