Fixber: software test results in 30 minutes

Today's Friday post I dedicate to all software developers who make our life easier and more interesting, and tell you how in 30 minutes to learn a lot about my software and get the first defects using our FIXber testing platform .

The task of the tester is not just to find defects, but to improve the overall quality of the software product.

1. registration


Go to the registration page , fill in all the required fields and wait for a letter with a password to the specified email. mail

After receiving the letter and activating the account, log in on the site and we are inside.

This should be clear.


2. adding a project to the site

Click the button " add project " and get to the page to add a project.

It is very important to fill in everything correctly and the required number of testers in the project will be provided to you:
- set access "open to all",
- we specify the “list of works”,
- in the “description” we enter information about what the project is, not forgetting to provide a link to it,
- in the "requirements" specify a detailed list of requirements for the project, which will help testers quickly navigate the project,
- Fill in the rest of the fields with your data.

When all fields are filled, then click the button "add", and the project will appear on the main page.


3. sending invitations to testers


You have a choice, or wait when testers enter the site and notice your project, or immediately notify testers about your project by sending them invitations.

We will choose the 2nd option in order to meet the allotted 30 minutes of time.

To do this, we replenish your account in the amount of 1000 rubles, and on the page of your project you will be able to select testers for sending invitations.

We select testers using the selection criteria, not forgetting to monitor their number (click the icon ). If the result of the selection suits you, then click the "invite" button, and sending invitations will start.

The ability to send invitations to testers is available absolutely for everyone, but only if there is a positive balance in the account (details can be found on the " Documentation " page in the "Selection of testers" section).

4. and here is the result
Within a few minutes after sending the invitations, you will see the first testers who have connected to your project, and as a result - the first defects added.

It remains to be familiarized with the defects found, to buy those that have become interesting, to refuse uninteresting ones, to export the purchased defects and to transfer them to the developers for correction.
