New drag and drop in Google Maps

Google once again pleases with its innovations. At this time, the functionality has been extended from Google Maps - the possibility of dragging intermediate points of the route.

You can add additional scheduled stops and detours manually (by typing the address of the intermediate waypoint), but it is much more convenient to do this by dragging.

A new function can be used, for example, in order to lay not the fastest, but more picturesque path, for example, along the coast, as shown in the screenshot:
Another possible use of drag-and-drop is also represented in the Google video on YouTube - along with the display of the Traffic layer (congestion), you can create a route by choosing more free roads:
