Almaty GTUG - first meeting

Here we are in Kazakhstan! Now, in the Southern Capital of Kazakhstan, Google developers and users will be able to get together to discuss various issues related to Google technologies! The first meeting of the group will be held within the framework of Barcamp Central Asia 2011 , April 16-17, 2011 in the building of the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Forecasting, located at the address: Almaty, 2 Abai Ave.

At the meeting 3 reports will be presented:

1. Our guest Vladimir Ivanov (head of Kyiv GTUG Center , Kiev, Ukraine) will give a presentation entitled “ Google Technology Users Group - Sense? Profit? Fun? ”, In which he will tell us what GTUGs are, how they work, what the benefits of the bear and just about how to create the most active group in the post-Soviet space and globally;
2. The second report will be devoted to Google Maps in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. One of the most active Kazakhstan cartographers, Denis Onishchenko, will tell and demonstrate to us how, almost in real time, you can make changes to Google Maps, add various objects. For example, did you know that you can add your home to Google Maps in minutes?
3. Finally, the third report will be presented by our guest from Google. The topic has not yet been determined, but it is known that the choice of topics is reduced to three: Chrome OS, Chrome Extensions or HTML5.
