Opera vernissage

Spring is a time when nature changes its black and white outfit for bright colors, preparing us for the summer riot of colors and shades. Therefore, we invite everyone to take part in a small competition for the best design of the cell Express panel. The competition is announced for a reason: its end will coincide with the release of the final version of Opera 11.10, and participants' works will be able to decorate the familiar Express panel in one day, turning it into an art gallery.

So, the rules of the competition.

First stage
Duration - one week from the date of publication of this announcement.
Any of you can create for your own website (or for a portal website where you are a web designer or developer) your own design for the Express Panel cell to replace the boring and already annoying page thumbnail. After the work is completed - in the comments to this post you publish a link to your website so that everyone can install it in the Express panel and evaluate the quality of your work.

As a cell design can serve as a stylish picture, and dynamic content, decorated with taste.

Second phase
Valid until Opera 11.10 finale is released
At the end of the first stage, all the sketches of the cells of the Express panels are put up for general voting. The end of voting is on the day and time of the release of the final version of Opera 11.10. The first three winners, who get the maximum number of votes, receive valuable prizes in the form of a smartphone (for first place) and cell phones (for the second and third).

As you can see, the task is not very difficult, and the prizes are quite real.

One small note: The preparation of Opera 11.10 is still in progress, please check your work in the new weekly builds and beta versions so that the changes made by the developers do not “break” your work. The developers have promised that this component will not undergo major changes, but who can give a 100% guarantee? This is Opera;)
