Skype phone booth at Tallinn Airport

image Ten minutes ago, from the next room, I heard the voice of the leading news release of a channel; I didn’t grab all the news, but picked out a tag cloud: Tallinn, airport, booth, Skype. Search on a habr did not give anything, which really surprises me, because the news is worthwhile.
With the assistance of Skype and AdTech and Enterprise Estonia, the world's first booth was installed at Tallinn Airport, which any visitor can use for free for video chat via Skype (naturally, an account is still required in the system). As well as the usual desktop or mobile version, you can make calls and Skype-phone, pre-paid call Skype currency.

The booth is equipped with a 22-inch touchscreen and a handset. However, you can connect your headset.

Interesting fact: the blue light of the booth (see photo above) changes color to green if the skype background is currently busy. The photo also shows that in order to preserve the privacy of the booth is located screen to the wall.
It is noteworthy that the cost of such a booth is “only” 4,000 euros, and the creators hope that such booths will soon be ubiquitous at train stations, hotels, hospitals, and so on.
By the way, not so long ago the last classic telephone booth was removed from the streets of Tallinn; their use was so low that it became simply unprofitable for the government to maintain them.
