It is unlikely that this post will be as popular as the report made right from the exhibition on the fly, but the pictures that were not included in it, and the promised video of the VMware report should still appear on our blog.

Toward the close of the exhibition, during the award ceremony of the lottery winners, we, the company Cloud One, held an auction of virtual machines. It would be possible, of course, to advertise for the sake of, to distribute a dozen cars for free, but we prefer to leave similar moves to other players of the young cloud market. Our virtual machines are very dear to us in every sense, and, in conducting an auction, we wanted first of all to provide exhibition visitors with the opportunity to purchase machines for their own projects, and not for the companies in which they have the honor to work. Although no restrictions on the use of machines, we, of course, do not impose. The initial price of the cars was set at 300 rubles, which is more than 10 times lower than their usual cost, and in the case of two doubled-out machines, all 20 also. Auction caused serious passions and, best of all, it was those who know what a virtual machine is for, and what to do with it.
After the auction and the rally, there was a concert with a buffet; we did not prudently take a picture of it. In general, CloudConf 2011 was a success, we hope that the organizers will not abandon such a good undertaking, and we will all meet again in a year at CloudConf 2012.
On the second day, the reports were even more active, in several classrooms at the same time.

In the demo zone, participants also mastered.

Such screens closed the zones where the equipment and stands were rolled up.

The mood outside the window on the second day radically changed. Neither the sun nor the elegant ships on the river.

And, of course, auction.
