Google's senior vice president leaves office

Today it has become known that Google’s vice-president, Jonathan Rosenberg, who has been with the corporation since 2002, is leaving Google. In fact, part of the success of the corporation is obliged to this person, who outlined some current milestones in the development of the company. It is believed that Rosenberg resigns from the post due to the fact that Larry Page took the position of CEO of the corporation.

In addition, it is possible that the departure of the vice-president is associated with some changes in the Google development model that were recently announced. Among the most famous projects that Rosenberg oversaw are the Android mobile OS and some services of the corporation. The departure of Rosenberg from the post of vice-president was announced in the official letter of the company.

Usually, figures of this magnitude, leaving their former place of work, immediately report on which project or company they intend to pursue in their careers. But about Rosenberg, nothing is yet known, neither he nor the representatives of Google give comments. In principle, anything can happen, suddenly a person is just tired and decided to retire? He had done quite a lot, so it really doesn’t hurt to rest.

In principle, Rosenberg had already been trying to leave Google for several years in order to pay more attention to his daughter. However, the management, not wanting to lose such a promising employee, each time asked its vice-president to stay.

So far there is no information about who can take the vacant place.
