Interactive map of the six months of life Malta Spitz

The 27-year-old German politician Malta Spitz (German page) from the Green Party, in conjunction with the newspaper Zeit Online, conducted an interesting experiment showing that the life of a modern young man who actively uses a mobile phone and the Internet is a practically open book, as if he were every evening every evening he made a public detailed report to everyone.
Having sued Deutsche Telekom, Spitz received information from the company about his mobile number over the past six months. Information included geolocation data, dates and times of calls. Then he combined it with the data that he received only from public Internet posts - his Twitter posts, Facebook, websites and personal blog.

As a result, a rather detailed map was obtained that clearly illustrates the life of a politician. For example, from the obtained data it is clear that Dr. Spitz leads an active policy life, actively moving through Germany. He likes (or has to) talk on his mobile phone for at least an hour a day and sends at least 50 SMS messages a day. On Saturday, October 10, 2009, he spoke at the Green Party Policy and Pirate Party forum in Dortmund on the Green Party, and by the midnight of the same day he returned to Berlin, being online around the clock.
