The current spring is rich in operatic surprises - in addition to the massive launch of mobile versions, a significant improvement in the desktop is expected: a new Express Panel is waiting for us, expanded support for web standards, a new version of Opera T ... But I won’t reveal all the secrets. But one, the most important for the Russian audience, still voiced. Many people know that we have already signed cooperation agreements with all major Russian mobile operators. Thanks to this, millions of users received unlimited tariffs in their regions. Thus, it became possible to save money, and, the more actively web surfing goes - the lower the “cost price” of each page viewed. But this is not the limit. Soon, all users of Opera’s mobile versions will have the opportunity not only to save money, but also to earn money while working on the network. The scheme is very simple: as soon as a user visits the pages of our partners (due to transfers from which the company can supply free browsers to the market), a certain small amount is credited to the mobile account of this user. Let a trifle - but still nice. So far this project is in beta testing, but anyone can try a new technology in action: it’s enough to enable the corresponding function in the settings of Opera Mini or Opera Mobile (in the English interface it is called “Money back”, and in Russian - “Refund”) . Unfortunately, this function is not available on the desktop for obvious reasons, but we hope that a suitable technological model will be found for this version of Opera.
As always, due to the dampness of the project, we expect from you bug reports and suggestions that will make this service really convenient.
